He Waits

 Close your eyes.  Imagine a palace pocked by an endless number of doors.  In front of each door the traveler finds a great treasure.  Eyes wide, smile creasing the face the traveler so weary from the long journey rests.  ‘There is no need to venture any further’, he reasons.  ‘I have all that I need.’ 

Yet, at the end of the hallways, the King waits for those who are not satisfied by the vast treasures they have seen but yearn for Him instead.  Baal Shem Tov
