The Power of the Word

An oath, with the knowledge of the community, or words committed to or before a community cannot be cancelled.  It is as if it were sworn in perpetuity at Mt. Sinai.  -Shulchan Aruch


We must be very careful with our utterances.  They are heard Above and below.
