Imagine

Galileo turned his telescope towards Saturn and thought you saw a large planet surrounded by two smaller planets. He then sent a letter to Johan Kepler:
altissimum planetan tergeminum observavi
"I have observed that the furthest planet is threefold."

Interestingly, he said "observed," not "I suppose" or "infer" or "reason". In fact, Saturn’s rings was what he saw but his mind didn’t allow that possibility.  There was no knowledge of anything but planets during his lifetime.

Free your mind to think.  Imagination may be more important than knowledge.

Of course, now in the 21 st century we must ask: are we better or worse for it?
