Said in Anger

In some exasperation , Lady Astor said to Winston Churchill, “Winston, if I were married to you I’d put poison in your coffee.”
Churchill responded, “And if you were my wife I’d drink it.”

Their relation is said to have been  very contentiousness.  While we may chuckle, there is much anger and hurt here.
