Ruth

And you seek me by the fences
I hear your footfalls sighing
And my eyes are dark and heavy drops.

Your gazes blossom sweetly in my soul
And fill out
When my eyes go off into sleep
An angel is standing
At the well of my homeland,
He sings the song of my love.
He sings the song of Ruth.
