Our Family

My next-door neighbor was devoted to her Yiddish speaking father and invariably understanding of his idiosyncrasies. One morning, however, her patience wore thin.  "Just once, Poppa,” she pleaded, "couldn’t you say ‘please’ or ‘thank you’?"
