Power

Winston Churchill once called the call for militarism, “the fierce but fading glare of military success.”
It is odd how visions of conquests beget even grander visions of more.

“I have never had trouble with the Christian phrase that the meek shall inherit the earth, but I’ve always wondered whether, after having inherited it, they will continue to be meek.”  -Abba Eban

Power beguiles and transforms.  The real test if integrity is how you behave when in a position of strength over another person.
