Passover

"On the tenth of Nisan,
let each man obtain a lamb for his family.
To decide the size of the paschal lamb.
Let the man carefully take into account
The number of persons in his household
And also the amount each of them will eat.

But…the eating has got to take place. 
And how could someone know in advance the full details of something that is still to happen
And has not yet come to pass?
It is by prescience,
