George Bernard Shaw said that the smartest man he ever met was his tailor.  Whenever he would visit him, the tailor would always measure him anew, never assuming he was the same size, recognizing that there stood before him a new man.
Isn’t this the goal of life?  It is not enough to stay alive, one must be in a continual state of renewal.  And expect the same of others.
