Everything is There

In Pirkei Avot 5:22, a section of the Mishna, the sage Ben Bag Bag reveals, "Turn it over, and again turn it over, for all is therein. And look into it; And become gray and old therein; And do not move away from it, for you have no better portion than it."

The questions come unbidden by circumstances in life. The answers are all there, in the Torah.

Life teaches many lessons. Among the best lessons of life is one my father taught me at an early age was, “If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing.” The contributions we make to life via our mouth are many and varied. Most of the time, I reckon, they are not contributions at all, but things that diminish the richness of life.
