Murder and Gehinnom

 It is taught: Anyone who makes a friend's face blanche (turn white) in public it is as if he has spilled his blood.  

There are three people who descend to Gehinnom and will not ascend:

1. One who embarrasses another

2. Someone who sins with another man's wife.

3. A person who uses an offensive nickname when calling out a person.-   Talmud, Baba Metsia 58b
