Go Ahead, Enjoy the Day

In a supermarket, a woman parked herself and her shopping cart in front of a young woman demonstrating a “total health muffin.” He gave his sales pitch, telling her how the muffin was “scientifically formulated by a physician to address your most important health concerns.”  He continued earnestly, reciting the fat-free, sugar-free ingredients and the low calorie count.
When the young man finished his sales talk, the woman pointed to a high shelf nearby.  “Could you reach up,” she said, “and hand me one of those large chocolate bars in back of you?”  -Ron Alexander, NY Times
