Deuteronomy 6:6 states, “You shall place these words on your heart…”
Why does Torah not say, “in your heart?” Because, teach our Sages, words of Torah are not supposed to be buried in the heart but acted.

Throughout our history it has been a priority. Of course, now in the 21 st century we must ask: are we better or worse for it?
